Whippety founder Christine discovered the magic of whippets in 2012, when her family adopted their first one, Myfi (Welsh for ‘my little lovely one’). They now have three, with Myfi aged 12, Rosie, 13 and Huw, three. With a view to meeting up with fellow whippets for walks, Christine started a Facebook group called Whippety Whippets Adelaide in 2015, which now has more than 1400 members. It's an amazing community and network of whippet lovers, with many finding litter siblings or relatives and creating new friendships through regular catch ups at the beach and other places. Whippety aims to capture that carefree happiness so we can all celebrate our whippets, wherever we are and whatever we're doing.
